From the day of incorporation Sharp Cat policy has been to recycle everything possible. Cardboard, paper and redundant mailers are collected weekly, and to encourage uptake of this service we provide recycling free of charge.
The security of your data is important for the protection of your company, prospects and customers and so all personalised items such as letter spoils are treated separately for secure shredding before recycling.
Further, your redundant or outdated letterhead can also be put to good use and with your permission we will (without charge) guillotine your company details off your old stock, retaining your company details for shredding and the plain paper left for use in local schools. All of this is gratefully received and after use, if not adorned on walls then goes onto be recycled by the participating schools.
There's plenty that can be done to reduce the environmental impact of direct marketing communications and clearly removing duplicates and running data against national suppression files for removal of goneaways and deceased contacts is a good start. Empty laser printing toners are not only recyclable but can benefit others and all of our spent cartridges are collected for charity recycling.
Within our immediate vicinity we separate and recycle all that we can, tea bags, drinks cans, plastic bottles and cardboard packaging are all separatly 'binned' for composting and recycling. We are located amidst a small but active wildlife area, which is left undisturbed to encourage flora and fauna. Our next venture is to investigate the efficient collection and use of rainfall.
