Inkjet Printing

Inkjet printing offers a versatile personalisation medium for alternative material such as one-piece mailers, cards and envelopes albeit generally at a lower print quality – typically 300 or 600 dpi.

Mono is the standard preference for typical budgets but for something more specialised colour inkjet can be catered for too.

Typical medium that suit inkjet well are:

Thick card stocks

Booklets

One-piece mailers

Non laser compatible media

For standard inkjet the area to be printed should be non-glossy and left uncoated. Glossy media can be inkjet printed by specialist equipment, but this is a more costly process.
