  Notes: This discounted system is offered when mail is machineable. Cleanmail offers a discount off the regular postage price and Cleanmail Plus offers extra discount when there is increased address accuracy. Mail needs to be prepared with an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) font or a Customer Barcode. The minimum envelope size is 140mm x 90mm, the maximum size is C5 Plus (240mm x 165mm). Minimum and maximum itme thickness are 0.25mm - 5mm . Delivery options: Walksort 1 - items delivered next working day after posting, Walksort 2 - items delivered within three working days
Cleanmail Advance 1000 100g 1-3 working days up to 12%
  Notes: For this service items must meet defined letter dimensions, with set address location and clearzones, a licence must be applied and at least 1000 items must be posted. A Customer Collection Receipt must be completed and letters must be presented in trays. Mail can be sent either 1st or 2nd class
Automated Standard Tariff lett 250 750g 1-3 working days 3-8p per item
  Notes: Items need to meet the large letter specification and must be machine readable. The mail does not need to be sorted, but addresses must be 95% accurate. With this in mind, Royal Mail offers the use of List Cleaner, a software package designed to improve address accuracy. Mail can be sent either 1st or 2nd class.
Mailsort 120 & 700 4000* 100g 1-7 working days up to 30%
  Notes: Extra savings are available as the mail is presorted (according to mail centre with Mailsort 120 or postcode area with Mailsort 700) before it arrives at a post office, and at least 90% of the postcodes must be correct for the savings to apply. All letters must be machineable and prices relate to CBC or OCR options for Mailsort 120 or OCR for Mailsort 700. With Mailsort 120 there is extra discount on the regular price and Mailsort 700 offers a greater discount for larger volumes and increased sorting. With both services clients can choose when mail is to be delivered. *Minimum mailing number for Mailsort 120 is 4000, for Mailsort 700 it is 10,000. There are three mailsort delivery options: Mailsort 1 - targeted for delivery next working day after posting, Mailsort 2 - three working days after day of posting, Mailsort 3 - within 7 working days after day of posting
Mailsort 1400 4000* 2 KG 1-7 working days up to 30%
  Notes: Post is sorted into specific groups, prior to collection by the post office, all with correct addresses. Minimum volummes differ for the other categories within this group: 1,000 large letters, A3 packets or packets. *The minimum number required for this service can drop to 1,000 large letters or 2,000 letters if the entire mailing is within the same postcode area. There are three delivery options: Mailsort 1 - next working days after posting, Mailsort 2 - delivery within three working days of posting, Mailsort 3 - delivery within 7 working days after day of posting
Walksort 4000* 750g 1-3 working days up to 35%
  Notes: Walksort mail should be sorted according to the actual walk taken by a postman or woman when posting the letters, so that the process is simplified and the sorted mail can be sent directly to a delivery office for postal staff to take out. * Or 1000 large letters or packets, or 2000 letters to addresses in the same postcode area that they originate from, eg: RG
